Chris Clark is an English electronic musician currently signed to Warp Records.[1] With the 2006 release of Throttle Furniture, he shortened his artist name to Clark.[2] Throttle Furniture and Body Riddle were both three years in the making, during which time Clark refined his sound considerably. His meticulous production style makes much use of manipulated live drum samples, which are used to construct complex beats. He performed with a live drummer (often Rob Lee aka Wax Stag) during his tour at the end of 2006 and throughout 2007.
Body Riddle was released with a free EP, ThrottleClarence, when purchased from particular sources. This contains some of his earlier and previously unreleased tracks.
His album Clarence Park was named after Clarence Park, a public park in his then home town of St Albans.
In 2009 he contributed a cover of a Milanese song to the Warp20 (Recreated) compilation.
During the summer of 2010 he scored a contemporary dance piece titled 'Tilted Fawn' performed by Melanie Lane.
